Liberty Flyers is the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) radio control aircraft club located in Penngrove, California. We have approximately 80 members.
Our members fly electric-powered airplanes, helicopters, and multi-rotor drones - but a handful also fly nitro or gas-powered models. In addition to year-round fun flying, we occasionally hold combat competitions. No matter what style of flying you prefer, Liberty Flyers is dedicated to providing a fun and safe experience for everyone.
Members pay annual dues that pay for rental of the land and site upkeep. Members may invite guests to fly with them, but as an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) sanctioned club, all pilots are required to be members of the AMA and have AMA Open Insurance.
